LegalShield Positions for Growth, Appoints New President to Lead Employer Benefits Strategy
Company promotes new SVP to lead best-in-class service and expand broker relations
Exhibiting innovation and leadership in the voluntary benefits market, LegalShield appointed two industry veterans to lead the company’s Business Solutions Division. Emily B. Rose has been elevated to President of Business Solutions, and Sean Rooney as Senior Vice President of Broker Sales & Service. Their expertise will enable LegalShield to expand its leading voluntary benefits offerings, already providing services to more than 40,000 employers nationwide.
With over 20 years of experience in the voluntary benefits industry, Rose is a leading expert in group legal plans, identity theft protection, supplemental health coverage, and property and casualty solutions. Her expertise extends to a wide range of organizations, from Fortune 500 companies and healthcare organizations to higher education institutions, public sector employers and state and local governments.

Also joining LegalShield’s executive team is Rooney, a 25-year employee benefits industry veteran who originally came to the company in 2017, the same year as Rose. With extensive expertise in sales, account management, operations, and underwriting, Rooney leads LegalShield’s efforts to expand its broker channel and provide industry-leading service to partners.
