Hill Jr. of Indiana was a keynote speaker at the company’s 2019 international annual convention, themed “A Better World.” At the convention, more than 5,000 LegalShield Associates will engage with leading expert speakers, specialized professional development training and networking opportunities.

The Attorney General’s speech, “Truth, Justice and The American Rule of Law,” followed his personal journey through the legal profession and highlighted the importance of independent thought and analysis of issues in business, law and life. “Our founders gave us a judicial system based in fundamental fairness and it’s our job to keep it that way,” said Attorney General Hill. “Our system of justice has not always worked perfectly and has not always lived up to our ideals. General Hill was elected Attorney General in 2016 after receiving more votes than any elected official in Indiana history. He began his legal career in general private practice and first ran for public office in 2002, when he won his first election with nearly 80% of the vote. As the Elkhart County prosecuting attorney, Hill was known for his relentless pursuit of justice and his willingness to reopen cold case investigations to find justice and closure for victims.
